She was born in 1980 in Zonguldak. She completed her secondary and high school education at TED Zonguldak College with a degree and with her outstanding success in the university exam, she was entitled to receive medical education in English at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine.
This is how she took the first step towards becoming the obstetrician and gynecologist she dreamed of. After graduating from the faculty of medicine, she obtained a high degree in the medical specialization exam (TUS) in 2007 and started to specialize in Zeynep Kamil Gynecology and Pediatrics Training and Research Hospital, which was her first choice.
By working for many years in one of Turkey's leading, specialist hospitals; She has taken part in countless births and in the treatment of thousands of diseases. She worked at Nallıhan State Hospital between 2011 and 2014 in order to fulfill her obligatory duty of public service as a specialist physician.
She returned to Zeynep Kamil Training and Research Hospital, where she got her degree as a specialist in 2014. She shared her knowledge and experiences with many doctors who came to receive training as an assistant at Zeynep Kamil Hospital. Her infertility treatments (vaccination, in vitro fertilization, egg freezing), risky pregnancies she followed, births she performed, gynecological surgeries (open and closed), urogynecological surgeries and cancer research have been the subject of many articles published both in Turkey and abroad.
Her studies, especially in the field of infertility, in vitro fertilization and high-risk pregnancy, have received a lot of attention from international authorities. Her article published in the Lancet, one of the most prestigious magazines in the world, sheds light on many international studies.
Her file, which she prepared with the academic knowledge, experience, publications and trainings she had gained until 2018, was accepted by the Council of Higher Education with a score of 180, exceeding the minimum score of associate professorship criteria of 100, and was entitled to receive the title of Associate Professor.
During the pandemic period caused by the Corona virus, which entered our lives in 2020, many Covid-19 positive female patients in the Corona service were treated. In this process, which is quite unknown and variable for the medical world; Thanks to many patients she has encountered, she has gained experience in “Covid in Pregnancy”, “Covid vaccines and treatments”.
During her stay at Zeynep Kamil Hospital; With the happiness of giving the happy news to the families to whom many infertility and in vitro fertilization treatments were applied, giving birth to thousands of pregnant women and rehabilitating many patients; She left her duty at Zeynep Kamil Hospital in 2021.
Married and has 2 children, Assoc. Dr. Cigdem Yayla Abide; she continues to realize her dreams in her own Istanbul Ataşehir gynecology clinic. Currently, she provides services to many women both from Turkey and abroad, especially in infertility treatments (vaccination,
IVF), genital aesthetics, vaginismus, closed uterus and ovarian cyst surgeries, urinary incontinence surgeries, pregnancy follow-up and delivery.
